Editor’s Thoughs~ Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child

Last night was supposed to be the last viewing of Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child at Film Forum but lucky for you it has been extended until August 24th.  I have seen a few films about Basquiat, including Downtown 81 and Basquiat, but Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child was by far the most honest and complete capsule of his rise and fall as an artist and a human being.  I give this film 5 stars and rate it as a must see.
